Luis Suarez joins Atlético!
- Here we go yesterday... and today confirmed: Luis Suarez is joining Atlético Madrid on a permanent deal from Barcelona.
Suarez’s lawyers, Barcelona board and the player himself met today to complete the agreement with Atletico de Madrid. He’s not joining as a free agent but Atléti will pay some add ons to Barça related to Atlรฉtico performances in the Champions League on next two years.
Luis Suarez has a total agreement with Atléti and already spoke with Diego Simeone. He’s ready to sign his contract and join soon. Reported on Friday, here we go on Monday and the deal is completed.
Atlético are now going to sell Santiago Arias to Bayer Leverkusen on loan with obligation to buy. Alvaro Morata joins Juventus on loan (€9m) with also buy option (€45m). Work in progress.
