Ferland Mendy is an French international who play's Left back for Real Madrid and France.
Mendy joined Real last year from Olympique Lyon on recommendation of coach Zinedine Zidane.
He told Telefoot: "That Zinedine Zidane loves you is flattering. It is the class".
"When I signed for Real Madrid, I was very afraid of my transfer. It is very difficult to get to Real Madrid, but I adapted and I think it went quite well.
"I don't think I've replaced Marcelo. We have a good relationship. He has given me good advice so far."
In the same summer transfer window that Real Madrid signed Eden Hazard, Ferland Mendy as the best addition to the squad.
Mendy is the present and future at left back for Real. He joins Alphonso Davies, Raphael Guerreiro, and Andrew Robertson as being in the elite class of left backs, and what distinguishes him from all those other players is that he’s just about impossible to dribble past.
