impressive form. With one win, Spurs have risnjen to second place in the league. Spurs beat Brighton by two goals to one in yesterday's match. Gareth Bale came on as a super sub and gave Spurs the win.
Harry Kane gave Spurs the lead early in the game through a penalty. The penalty came in the 13th minute. Brighton equalized in the second half through young fullback Lambtey. Lambty's goal came in the 56th minute. Mourinho Bale was sent off in the 70th minute when Spurs struggled to find the back of the net.
Bale shook the net three minutes later and gave Spurs 3 points. Bale's goal came from Regulian's cross. It's seven and a half years since Bale scored a goal for Spurs. With this victory, Spurs rose to second place behind Liverpool
Gareth Bale scored the first goal of his second coming to send Tottenham Hotspur up to second place in the early Premier League table.
“It’s a great feeling,” said Bale. “I just want to come on and do a job for the team. You want to make an impact. I was lucky enough to get the goal, so I’m very happy.
“(We can be) very competitive. We don’t have to get too carried away. We know it’s a long season and there are a lot of teams. We have to keep working hard and we’ll go from there.”
